Ok, so if you read my post about the Major problem, I would like to make an update on that.
I went to several practices, the secondary coach (Mike) was a big meanie, he made me run a triangle!!! Do you even know what a triangle is!!? Well I'll tell you what it is!! Its when you run from home base to the first corner of the entire field, then you run to the next corner, then you run back to home. I will tell you this - IT STUNK!! Worse then anything in the entire universe, I felt total shame after the practice. After practice was over, I rode my bike home and told mom and dad that I wanted to quit. Mom and Dad said they supported my decision. I e-mailed the couch (Dave) that I quit and he sent an e-mail saying ok, sorry if it wasn't what you wanted. The next day the couch of the minors team I was on last season came to my house and said that he wanted me to be in Majors and that I am talented and stuff. After 30 min. he left. I thought about what he said, I decided to give Majors another try. I found out that Noah, my best friend, is going to be on the same Majors team as I am. So there you have it, the not so major problem.

ps- thank you for commenting on my posts. It encourages me alot. And it motivates me to do more blogging.
Good for you! Keep running and writing. I received a funny joke today which I'll email to your parents and maybe they can share it with you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Dane for making the majors, thats great!! Sorry you had to run the triangle. I know it can be embarrassing huh, I bet the coach just did it because he saw potential in you, and only wants to make you better. Some coaches can be mean though and forget the whole point of the game, ( to have fun). Speaking of running, you could become a great runner if you put your mind to it. You got some long legs there.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and good luck!
