Oh man I feel awful,
I have the worst fever in the world. I have a lot of stuff wrong with me: Sore eyes, Sore back, Sore legs, very stuffy nose, aching head, super dry lips, and I have a very weak body. Looking for sympathy. Mom say I'm not sick enough if I can blog.
well, see ya,
DANE
The reason the blog is called "Dot and Feather" is because I am Eastern Indian (Dot) and American Indian (Feather). This blog will talk about the things that happen in my life.

Animals on the Reservation
Since I have moved from Alaska to Montana I have already had some crazy adventures on the Crow Indian Reservation. I will share them with you and hope that they are exciting for you as well. The first thing I was creeped out about was that there are rattle snakes in Montana. I absolutely hate those things! A week after I arrived, Caleb went to take out the trash. When he arrived at the can he heard and saw a rattle snake. He ran inside trembling in fear. Dad went outside with a metal shovel to look for the darn thing. When he found it, the thing hissed very loudly and everyone but Dad ran inside screaming. Dad saw it, slammed his shovel on it like twenty times and killed it. Later, my two uncles killed two more rattlers. Once the rattlers subsided, a nice lady named Mrs. Denalene gave our family two kittens; a black one and an orange one. We named the orange one Sistine and the other one Percy Jackson (from the books). They were going to be outside cats. Once we had them for a month an owl began looming around our farm. One night I saw Percy venture off in the night. The next mourning Percy didn't come for breakfast or dinner. I didn't see her all day or the next day. We decided that the owl had killed her, poor Percy. The events never end. One day Mom said that we could go swimming at the swimming hole. We where walking down the driveway when my Grandmother yelled that a bear was in the yard. Sure enough, there was. We walked to the door and found our trash all over the yard. We picked it up while keeping a watch on the bear. Then we ran inside and called the game warden. We have seen the bear on and off in our yard. The game warden came out and set up a live bear trap. We haven't caught it yet but we are keeping watch for it. Montana is full of surprises and is a great place to visit.
